Description
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health & Benefits Consulting team at Mercer. This role will be based in New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Norwalk, or Morristown. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.As a Senior Health & Benefits Consultant IV, you will lead complex client engagements, develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies, and drive the creation of innovative tools and solutions to address complex client challenges. You will play a key role in expanding business opportunities and enhancing our market presence.
We will count on you to:
- Lead complex client engagements and develop sophisticated benefits design and renewal strategies
- Drive the development of tools and solutions to address complex client issues
- Monitor project success in terms of scope, budget, timeliness, and client satisfaction
- Be accountable for revenue and profitability for client accounts and projects
- Set strategic direction and create demand for new products and services in the marketplace
- Lead successful regional or national marketing initiatives
- Build market presence by leading and presenting at industry seminars and conferences
- Leverage the company's size and reputation to negotiate highly competitive rates and coverage options from carriers and vendors
- Proven track record of initiating new opportunities and winning new business in health and benefits consulting
- Strong expertise in benefits design, renewal strategies, and client engagement management
- Experience managing project scope, budget, and client satisfaction
- Ability to lead strategic marketing initiatives and build market presence
- Experience leading presentations and seminars at industry conferences
- Demonstrated success in negotiating competitive rates and coverage options with carriers and vendors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to set strategic direction and drive business growth

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $212,000 to $318,000.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
