Job Summary
Position Summary

The Trauma Program Manager (RN) provides leadership and oversight of the trauma program, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while driving quality improvement, patient outcomes, and program growth within a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate trauma program operations and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ACS and state trauma designation standards
- Oversee trauma registry, data analysis, and performance improvement programs
- Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor quality metrics, outcomes, and regulatory readiness
- Facilitate trauma committees, education, and staff development
- Support survey readiness, accreditation, and community outreach
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
- Experience:
- 3 years' related experience in emergency or trauma nursing; minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of team building, systems thinking, complex problem solving, negotiating and influencing; change and conflict management; data analysis; coaching and mentoring, strategic planning, business strategy development.
- Computer skills required.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current or ability to obtain, Arizona RN License. Current TNCC
- Education:
- Preferred Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years' related experience; 3 years supervisory experience
- Master's in Nursing-MSN
- Prior trauma program leadership/coordination experience preferred
- Knowledge of ACS standards and trauma registry processes
- Preferred certifications: TCRN, CEN, CCRN

Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center.
