Job Summary

Responsible for skillfully preserving, cutting, staining, and mounting tissue sections onto microscopic slides for analysis by the Pathologist. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's or Associates Degree from an approved college or university.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: NA
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 2 years experience as a Histotechnician
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: NA
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Histologic Technician (HT) American Society Clinical
Pathologists (ASCP) or equivalent.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
