Job Summary
Up to $15,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months
Full Time Days
The Asst. Nurse Manager directs and supervises nursing care functions and activities in specialty areas for the purpose of ensuring the competent delivery of quality patient care. He/she implements, educates and ensures compliance with policies, procedures, standards and regulations for personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public. The Asst. Nurse Manager 's primary role is to take charge of nursing personnel, however, they may take patient assignments whenever business or operational needs dictate, in order to deliver high quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Serves as clinical expert and resource to staff members through leadership and education.
- Serves as a liaison for patients/families, physicians and between other facility departments to promote positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Preferred: BSN
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum two years as a staff nurse, previous charge nurse experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
- State License
- BLS (Required upon hire)
- ACLS (90 days post hire date or transfer date to obtain)
- NIHSS (90 days post hire date or transfer date to obtain)
*BLS, ACLS, and PALS must be through the American Heart Association.
