2026 Summer InternLocation:
This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working at the following address: 99 Oakland Avenue, Pasadena, CA 91106.
Department Details:
Customer Installation is a market facing team that supports our new and renewing customers through their onboarding and renewal journey. Customer installation pairs the skills of consultation, project management and negotiation to provide an enhances onboarding experience to our customers and partners. We serve as the hub for all things critical for customers and members to be set-up successfully from strategy, test files to enrollment processing and ID cards.
Internship Projects:
The intern will be responsible for identifying efficiencies through automation (AI), other staffing resources to lessen the time spent and number of systems needed. On identified project is assessing ID card validation and automating or finding alternative and more efficient ways to audit cards to ensure accuracy.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.
- Report development and analytics.
- Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
- Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.
- Job shadowing in other functional areas.
- Performing additional duties as required.

Education
- Pursuing a graduate degree or have completed a graduate program from an accredited university within the last year.
- Bachelors degree required.

Additional Requirements:
- Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3.0 GPA or above
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.

Pay Range: $31.05 - $40.13 / hour Kaiser Permanente is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted pay range is based on possible base salaries for the role and does not include the value of our total rewards package. Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills and geographic location along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure that pay equity is achieved and maintained across Kaiser Permanente. Travel: Yes, 10 % of the Time Flexible: Work location is on-site at a KP location, with the flexibility to work from home.
