Job Summary

JOB TYPE: Per Diem
Position Summary
The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT's and is cross-trained to Unit Associate or Monitor Technician. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- High School Graduation or Equivalent and Nursing Assistant Course Work
EXPERIENCE
- Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS
- Nursing Assistant Certification
- Basic Life Support\
- (Basic EKG) If cross trained as a Monitor Technician
- Successful completion of GSMC EKG test
