Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead a well-established, collegial urology division within a nationally recognized, physician-led organization
- Collegial group practice with a large referral base
- Oversee a multidisciplinary team including 9 Urologists, 5 Advanced Practitioners across nine Optum MA urology locations
- Shape departmental performance with 0.3 FTE administrative leadership time alongside active clinical practice of 0.7 FTE
- Current call is three per month
- Drive strategic growth and care innovation while partnering closely with surgical, specialty, and operational leadership across Optum MA
- Provide comprehensive urology care supported by state-of-the-art technology, including access to the da Vinci® robot and advanced minimally invasive treatments
- Lead a department committed to high-quality, patient-centric, and safe care, recognized as a top performer in Massachusetts' Quadruple Aim initiatives.
- Offers a complete range of urology care for patients of all ages, addressing conditions such as kidney stones, urinary incontinence, prostate cancer and bladder cancer
- Access to interventional radiology
- The Urology group has multiple locations in central, MetroWest and eastern MA, making it convenient for patients and providing a broad reach for urologists.
- Excellent support staff and dedicated practice management systems in place that allows you to practice at the top of your license
- State of the art Epic EMR system
- Student and Resident teaching; and Research opportunity available if desired

Required Qualifications:
- BC/ BE in Urology
- Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Active DEA License
- 1-5 years of experience actively practicing Urology
- Proven leadership experience or training
- Experience working within a Team Care model
- Fluency in EMR systems & technology
