Location: Onsite - 5901 Colonial Dr Ste 301, Margate, Fl 33063
This is high volume, customer service environment. You'll need to be efficient, productive and thoroughly dealing with our members over the phone. You also must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include evening hours.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing administrative intake of members
- Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers
- Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
- Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review
- Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers
- Ability to travel within 5-mile radius for coverage may be required up to 10%
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a primary care setting
- 2+ years of experience working with referrals and prior authorization
- Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Bilingual - Spanish/English
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the health care Industry and with health care insurance
- Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
- A clerical or administrative support background
- Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes
- Experience working in a call center
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
