Description:Job Summary:
Provides consultation and leadership in designated areas of expertise with minimal oversight. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to address issues and achieve project objectives. Shares knowledge and best practices with peers and staff, serving as a mentor to support a culture of excellence and continuous learning. Assists regulatory compliance by using knowledge of state, federal, and agency requirements to support and conduct audits, investigations, and chart reviews to identify compliance issues and implement plans. Implements policies, procedures, protocols, and educational programs to maintain compliance and address deficiencies. Delivers training sessions, seminars, and workshops for staff and practitioners. Coaches staff on policies, procedures, protocols, educational programs, and best practices. Contributes to the identification and exploration of innovation opportunities in care delivery models and workflows. Engages with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and achieve project objectives with minimal supervision. Implements policies, procedures, and standards with minimal supervision. Provides support on interpretation and application of policies and procedures and for alignment with organizational objectives, strategic plans, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Responsibilities:

Collaborates cross-functionally to solve business problems; escalates issues or risks as appropriate; communicates progress and information. Supports, identifies, and monitors priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Identifies, speaks up, and implements ways to address improvement opportunities for team.

- Assists in regulatory compliance by: providing consultation using knowledge of state, federal, and agency requirements to ensure compliance in moderately complex situations; supporting and/or conducting audits, investigations, and chart reviews independently to identify compliance issues and implement action plans; implementing policies, procedures, protocols, and educational programs to maintain compliance and address deficiencies; and staying abreast of regulatory changes and industry trends.
- Assists in evidence-based research and innovation by: contributing to the identification and exploration of innovation opportunities in care delivery models and workflows; and taking part in a culture of innovation within the organization, encouraging experimentation and continuous improvement.
- Assists in stakeholder engagement and collaboration by: engaging with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and achieve project objectives with minimal supervision; contributing to meetings and discussions; and fostering relationships and partnerships, promoting teamwork and alignment across groups.
- Assists in training and education by: delivering training sessions, seminars, and workshops for staff and practitioners; coaching staff on policies, procedures, protocols, educational programs, and best practices; assisting in evaluating training effectiveness and making recommendations for improvement to align with policies, procedures, and protocols; and collaborating with peers on assessing learning needs and contributing to the development of innovative educational strategies to support a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Minimum one (1) year of leadership experience in nursing and or healthcare related field with or without direct reports.
- Bachelors degree in nursing or related field AND minimum two (2) years of experience in direct patient care or a directly related field.
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Master's degree in nursing or related field.

Pay Range: $168000 - $193600 / year Kaiser Permanente strives to offer a market competitive total rewards package and is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted pay range is based on possible base salaries for the role and does not reflect the full value of our total rewards package. Actual base pay determined at offer will be based on labor market data and a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location. Travel: Yes, 20 % of the Time Flexible: Work location is on-site at a KP location, with the flexibility to work from home.
