Growing together.As a full time, nonexempt, CPS Staff Pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week and will support locations in Murphy and Rockwell, TX
About the Facility: Emerus supports Baylor Scott and White Emergency hospitals located throughout DFW including Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Aubrey, Murphy, Rockwall, Keller, Burleson and Colleyville. This position will float between the facilities to provide coverage as needed. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Fill Orders
- Maintain Pharmacy security
- Check Pharmacy Technician prepared products
- Training of new staff

Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy (PharmD preferred)
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in TX
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Demonstrated effective communications skills; verbal and written
- Driver's License and access to reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting
- Experience with Omnicell and Pyxis
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The hourly pay for this role will range from $43.22 to $77.21 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
