Responsibilities
Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient. Develops and implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care. Selects, obtains, and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance, and emergence phase anesthesia.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Unencumbered, active APRN / CRNA license in Florida (or eligible for licensure)
- NBCRNA certification (or eligibility)
- Critical Care Experience: Usually 1-3+ years in ICU, step-down, or other high-acuity environments
- Clinical Skills: Proficiency in advanced airway management, central lines, arterial lines, ventilators, etc.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts (some hospitals may require call, nights, weekends)
- Professionalism and Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and OR teams
