If so, we are looking for licensed, highly motivated and self-driven leaders with industry experience to join our team. Our Directors of MarketPoint Sales strive to increase sales, utilize assigned budgets to their best potential, troubleshoot market obstacles, and provide guidance and direction to their team. Our directors also work with the executive level leadership team to provide up to date information and stats, innovative ideas for driving sales and short and long term goals for their assigned territory.

The Director Medicare Sales will lead a team of Licensed Medicare Sales Managers, providing value-based leadership, strategic and tactical guidance, and performance direction to ensure all sales and retention goals are met or exceeded.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing strategic sales/marketing plans, which will assist in maintaining and increasing membership.
- Conduct, attend, and manage local and sales operations meeting(s) in order to provide sales development, teamwork, market strategies, training, etc.
- Monitor sales results, trends and overall performance to hold sales agents accountable for achieving identified targets.
- Collaborate across MarketPoint sales channels to execute strategy and deliver on growth objectives
- Partner with Market Operations team to develop growth strategy; including sales & retention strategies, product design and provider partnerships/growth
- Build strategic relationships with distribution partners and agencies to ensure successful business outcomes
- Lead a team of 6 Managers and 50 indirect reports

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent business experience
- 15+ years of experience supporting Medicare sales organizations, including roles that directly enable or partner with sales teams
- 10+ years of leadership experience within a large sales organization, including field-based components
- Proven experience leading teams of 10 or more field sales professionals
- Valid State Health insurance license
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation and leadership skills
- High proficiency with laptop computers, mobile devices, and mobile applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated passion for contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits. This role also requires running a Motor Vehicle Report as part of the background check process
- Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings. Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to a regional office location (New Jersey, Maryland, D.C., Delaware, Massachusetts or Pennsylvania) and be able to work in a hybrid office setting
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience in a sales management position
- Master's Degree in Business Administration or a related field

Driving Statement:
This role is part of our company's driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and are expected to maintain personal vehicle liability insurance. State driver's license is subject to driver license validation and MVR review. Individuals must carry vehicle insurance in accordance with their residing state minimum required limits, or $25,000 bodily injury per person/$25,000 bodily injury per event /$10,000 for property damage or whichever is higher.
Language Proficiency Assessment:
Any Humana associate who speaks with a member in a language other than English must take a language proficiency assessment, provided by an outside vendor, to ensure competency. Applicants will be required to take the Interagency Language Rating (ILR) test as provided by the Federal Government.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$102,500 - $139,700 per year
This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
