Growing together.As a full time, exempt Director of Pharmacy at Old Vineyard Behavioral you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws with the assistance and oversight of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs with assistance from a full support team.
Schedule: This position works at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday. May occasionally work a weekend as back up coverage.
About the Facility: Old Vineyard Behavioral Health facility is a 162 bed acute inpatient psychiatric facility servicing adult, geriatric & adolescent patients. The facility is located on a beautiful, spacious campus in Winston-Salem, provides intensive and individualized treatment to help adolescents and adults, providing a relaxing and comforting environment for patients, families, and staff. Old Vineyard's specially trained staff, including psychiatrists, licensed therapists, psychologists, 24-hour nurses and BA/BS direct-care counselors, are committed to serving each patient with compassion and quality care.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM; Saturday and Sunday from 8:00AM to 2:30PM. This facility utilizes Omnicell automated dispensing cabinets.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee Pharmacy Operations
- Manage Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians
- Work with Hospital staff and leadership

Required Qualifications:
- BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Licensed pharmacist in the State of North Carolina in good standing
- 2+ years recent pharmacy management in a hospital setting
Preferred Qualification:
- 5+ years of Pharmacy Management
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
