- Responsible for all procurement activities of the Supply Chain departments for a hospital or multi-hospitals. Develops leading practices in purchasing, material processing, and returns. Manages departmental operating budget.
- Drives organization towards committed contract compliance.
- Fosters an environment designed around customer service; develops subordinate team members in customer-focused service delivery. Develops and maintains Key Performance Indicator (KPI) compliance.
- Serves as a subject matter expert and resource to employees and customers; demonstrated by knowledge of products/systems/standards.
- Delegates assignment and sets clear expectations. Responds proactively to employee needs and concerns. Facilitates consensus among employee groups and manages personnel conflicts.
- Minimizes employee turnover through continuous staff rounding and engagement.

Position Summary
Directs all procurement of goods and services for the shared services center. Responsible for the financial performance, including the evaluation of spend to established targets, including contract compliance, budget, forecast etc. Develops strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Ensures that issues regarding existing and new products are resolved in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Develop relationships with peers and administrative leadership. Participate on various committees and meetings. Leads and directs the work of others. Reports to the Regional Supply Chain Leader. Performs a variety of tasks as assigned.
- Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or 6 years applicable Healthcare Supply Chain experience in lieu of degree, including 2 years in a managerial role to include budget management
- Experience: 6 Years
- Special Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MMIS
- Preferred Requirements:
- Education: Master's Degree with 4 years in Healthcare Supply Chain, including 2 years in a managerial role to include budget management
- Certification/Registration: Certified Materials and Resources Professional (CMRP)
