Job Summary
FULL-TIME DAYS
The Distribution Tech is under general supervision, receives incoming shipments and/or fills orders for supplies stocked in warehouse inventory and stocks shelves with new supplies and maintains clean appearance in the warehouse. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
General Functions:
* Receives Shipments and/or pulls orders per guidelines for all BHS facilities and contributes to team work
* Documents any discrepancies appropriately and communicates with supervisor
* Maintains warehouse in a clean and neat condition
* Assists with putting stock up in locations as directed
* Maintains assigned aisles per guidelines and ensures proper rotation of inventory. Communicates expired or dead stock to supervisors
* Participates in all inventories
* Maintains and cares for all equipment
* Communicates with all customers/facilities appropriately
* Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively
* Maintains safe environment
* Participates in Performance Improvement Activities
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Diploma, GED or 1 year of comparable work experience in lieu of education
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Basic warehousing or supply chain
