Description

Essential Functions:

• Greet, assist, and register patients that present for treatment.
• Receive, make and transfer telephone calls promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
• Ability to work accurately with a high volume of work in a fast-paced setting.
• Demonstrate and maintain professional conduct to include dealing courteously
• Tactfully and patiently with patients, co-workers, and consumers
• Alphabetize filing

Grade 04

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Typing of 25 WPM
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of medical experience
• Six (6) months experience in a hospital/clerical setting or medical office
• Ability to work productively in a busy and complex environment
• Reception and cash handling experience
• Prefer experience with PS3 scheduling and staffing system

Skills Testing:

• Typing 25 WPM
