Description
2026 Summer InternFLEXIBLE: This internship role is scheduled to be flexible. Please be prepared to spend part of your time working remotely and part of your time working at the following address: 6560 Greenwood Plaza Blvd., Greenwood Village, CO 80111
Department Description:
The FP & A department focuses on the management of forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The team focuses on sharing reporting, analytics, and consulting with the business to make financial decisions.
Project Description:
Projects will consist of, but not limited to, ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting, staffing/labor trends and analysis, process improvement/automation, process documentation, participating in team meetings, job shadowing, etc.

Desired Skillsets:
- Microsoft 360 (including excel, PowerPoint, word, etc.)
- Familiarity and comfort working in a semi-remote environment
- Ability to use virtual tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Contributing to a designated project or initiative to meet a KP business objective.
- Report development and analytics.
- Project management - planning, execution, and measurement.
- Learning new applications needed to complete assignments or support the execution of business objectives.
- Job shadowing in other functional areas.
- Performing additional duties as required.

Education
- Pursuing a bachelors degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.

Additional Requirements:
- Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3.0 GPA or above.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.

Pay Range: $20.72 - $26.75 / hour Kaiser Permanente is committed to pay equity and transparency. The posted pay range is based on possible base salaries for the role and does not include the value of our total rewards package. Actual pay determined at offer will be based on years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills and geographic location along with a review of current employees in similar roles to ensure that pay equity is achieved and maintained across Kaiser Permanente. Travel: No Flexible: Work location is on-site at a KP location, with the flexibility to work from home. Worker location must align with Kaiser Permanente's Authorized States policy.
