Description:$5000 sIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE POSITION

Job Summary:
Provides nursing care and services to patients/families under the direct supervision of a registered nurse or provider. Care is limited to activities that may be provided by unlicensed assistive personnel with demonstrated and documented competencies that do not require licensure.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Contributes to ongoing patient data collection and documentation; identifies changes in patient status and reports changes to RN/Provider; implements patient care under the direction of the registered nurse or provider.
- Demonstrates knowledge and ability to apply the nursing process.
- Performs nursing tasks as delegated by a registered nurse or provider that does not require licensure.
- Demonstrates technical competence in basic nursing skills and use of basic patient care equipment.
- Records data and nursing care activities in the medical record consistent with department and regulatory standards.
- Supports nursing care by providing related services such as clerical support and patient transportation.
- D emonstrates knowledge of and application of infection control principles and standards, including patient, environment, and employee situations.
- Reports incidents, work-related injuries, unsafe equipment or environment to management or other appropriate staff.
- Participates as directed during emergency situations.
- Performs administrative and other duties and accepts responsibility as assigned.

Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program by start date.
- Must obtain and pass NCLEX-PN exam and obtain a nursing license within six (6) months from the date of hire.

- Experience working with electronic medical records.
- Basic Life Support recommended.
