Growing together.We are seeking qualified candidates for the role ofMammography Technologist at varying levels (I, II). The selected candidate will be placed at the appropriate level based on qualifications and experience. All levels contribute to patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with increasing responsibilities at higher levels.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Upon the order of a qualified physician, the Mammography Technologist will utilize equipment which produces ionizing radiation to obtain images for diagnostic purposes according to policies, procedures, and protocols of the KSC Radiology Department and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic
- Perform Mammography and DEXA studies. The Mammography Technologist will utilize the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) and designated PACS system
- May be assigned to other duties, technical or non-technical if training, experience, and credentials are deemed adequate by supervisor to perform those duties

Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
- 40 hours mammography training approved by the ARRT and 25 supervised exams to meet the minimum initial FDA & TMB requirements for mammographers
- ARRT (R)(M) or obtain ARRT(M) within one year of eligibility
- MRT- General Certificate
- BLS through American Heart Association
- Working knowledge of mammography quality assurance measures and accreditation requirements.
- Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsShape
Preferred Qualification:
2+ years of experience in mammography or 1-year KSC experience in. X-Ray and/or SCNB experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $28.27 to $50.48 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
