Description
Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus based on experienceDesert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level I trauma facility with an innovative, patient centered and evidence-based Rehabilitation Services Department. Our compassionate team provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including acute care rehabilitation, joint replacement & spinal surgery, neurosurgery, ICU, Telemetry, step-down care, skilled nursing, as well as outpatient therapy, hand and lymphedema clinics.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Evaluates, plans and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation.
- The therapist will be involved in multidisciplinary case conferences and discharge planning for patients of all ages treated at Desert Regional Medical Center.
