- Adheres to the following environmental care standards.
- Performs and fulfills all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster. Responsible for knowing the Hospital's emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code. Accepts/participates on assigned Team for Hurricane response.

Position Summary:
The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for providing therapy services, upon referral from an appropriate licensed practitioner, to patients including assessment, treatment program planning, and implementation related documentation and communication. Evaluates and treats patients in order to produce effective outcomes. Communicates and assists in resolving problems. Demonstrates effective resource utilization that is critical to operational stability within the organization. Participates in performance improvement and program growth.
EDUCATION:
Minimum: Bachelor of Science Degree
Preferred: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience desired, but not required
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
Florida license as an Occupational Therapist from the Agency of Health Care Administration's Division of Medical Quality Assurance.
Current AHA BLS CPR card
