Job Summary
Job Shift: Days
Job Type: Per Diem
The Orderly Aide transports adult and pediatric patients, assists setting up orthopedic equipment, receives and puts away storeroom supplies. Performs errands as directed by Nursing personnel. Assists with room turnover in the O.R. Retrieves blood and blood products. Delivers specimens to the laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Transports patients to and from O.R.
- Places of O.R. equipment and furniture.
- Cleans operating rooms, keeps storage areas neat.
- Runs errands as directed.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: CNA, EMT, Nursing Student
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous Operating Room experience preferred.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
- BLS certification
