Job Summary
Full Time, Days

Position Summary

Transports adult and pediatric patients, Sets up orthopedic equipment, takes directives and provides assistance to surgeons with regard to casting and traction applications. Sets up plaster carts and assists with room turnover in the O.R. Assists with all duties as evidenced in the OR Assistant job description.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:

• Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: CNA, EMT, Nursing Student, Ortho Tech

EXPERIENCE:

• Previous Operating Room experience preferred.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:

• American Heart Association BLS certification

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• None required.
