We are seeking a Float Pharmacist to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners
- Provides information to consumers about medications and their use
- Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service. Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy
- Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy
- Travel up to 75%
- Float Pharmacist will cover pharmacist shifts during times of surrounding pharmacy site manager PTO

Required Qualifications:
- BS Pharmacy or Pharm D
- Current pharmacist's license in the state of IA
- Certified immunizer of willing to become an immunizer within 3 months of hire
- Valid Drivers License
- Reliable Transportation
The hourly range for this role is $43.17 to $84.95 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
