Per Diem, Rotate

POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs all duties of a Lab Assistant. In addition, procures an above average number of patient specimens, instructs phlebotomy/office trainees, inventories and maintains, phlebotomy and office supplies, and exhibits above average initiative and cooperation. Efficiently performs computer functions assigned to a Lab Assistant security level; competently performs downtime procedures. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Minimum Education /Licensure / Certification:

High school diploma or it equivalent (GED)

Certification from one of the following: ASCPT, NCAP, or Hospital School of Phlebotomy certificate
