Job Summary

Job Type: Per Diem

The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluation and treatment of inpatients and outpatients upon referral from a physician. The PT develops a plan of care for each patient referred and is responsible for its implementation and modification as necessary in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures relative to care and treatment of patients.

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum: Experience and education must be any combination recognized by the state of Florida for license as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred: Master's in Physical Therapy, Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy

Experience:

• Preferred: One year experience in an acute care hospital as a Physical Therapist

Other Qualifications:

• Current Florida Physical Therapist License
• Current CPR card

Required Certifications:

• BLS

West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County.
