Description
Under the direct supervision of a registered Imaging Technologist, the Radiology Student Extern performs a variety of patient care and imaging-related tasks in alignment with classroom instruction and competencies demonstrated during clinical rotations at a Tenet facility. The Student Extern supports imaging procedures, patient transport, documentation, equipment preparation, and workflow efficiency within the Radiology department.The role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively with technologists, radiologists, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality imaging services and an excellent patient experience.
