Job Summary

A non-exempt medical office position responsible for all referrals for the medical offices in the market

Responsibilities

• Process patient referrals for the practices in the market
• Coordinate scheduling of office visits for the referred patient
• Assist patient with finding resources that accept the various insurances
• Obtains pre-authorization from payers.
• Set up referring providers in the Electronic System

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma/GED required

Certification: Prefer healthcare management/administration or Medical Assistant certification.

Experience: Must have a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working in a medical office setting
