Job Summary
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit, delivering individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside care in alignment with the nursing process and patient needs. This role collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care planning and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a clinical leader by assessing, planning, delegating, and exercising independent judgment in directing other healthcare staff in the provision of safe, effective care.
- Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice, supporting patient goals, and ensuring safety guidelines and work practices.
- Promotes safe and efficient patient throughput in a high-volume acute care setting to optimize workflow and daily operations in a procedure-driven facility.
- Key duties include directing patient care, participation in hourly rounding, and supervision of healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- MID SHIFT 1;00pm- 1:30am

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
- Candidates should be prepared to adapt to a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure and demonstrate excellent customer service and basic computer skills. - Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 1 year of acute care experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit
- Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school
- Certification: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona, BLS, ACLS are required at time of hire
- Preferred Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of acute care experience in Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit
- Education: BSN
- Certification:
- PALS
- CEN
- TNCC
