Provides respiratory care to patients. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Performs various respiratory therapy services at an advanced level in accordance with departmental policy and procedure to insure therapeutic or diagnostic procedures prescribed by physicians are carried out in a professional manner.

• Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program.
  • Certifications:
    • BLS (both hospitals), ACLS (both hospitals), PALS (both hospitals), NRP-NICU RRT, NRP-Bartlett RRT.
    • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist license with ABG Analyst endorsement from the State of Tennessee NBRC RRT credential.
