This position is National Remote. This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
This will be on the job training and the hours of training will be aligned to your schedule.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understanding of all the Medicare and Medicaid Fee Schedules for our different services provided.
- Work zero-dollar work queue. Incorporate and approve new service fees into Epic PM system within prescribed timeframes.
- Working with revenue-producing departments to ensure the ongoing consistency of the Charge Description Master (CDM) and accurate descriptions, coding, additions, deletions, pricing, and any other changes.
- Comprehension of FFS commercial insurance contracts. Working with OI analysts to update Contract Management Tool.
- Reviewing trends in third-party payments and comparing actual payments to managed care contract reimbursement schedules and government payer fee schedules.
- Compiled, analyzed and prepared Epic reports for charging accuracy, reimbursement review and to confirm accurate practices for billing
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle team members for development of strategies, initiatives and improve process efficiencies, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience with computers and Windows based programs including Microsoft, Word, Excel (create, sort pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.), Outlook
- Experience with Practice Management systems

Preferred Qualifications:
- Epic experience
- Knowledge of Medicaid / Medicare reimbursement methodologies
Telecommuting Requirements:
- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 - $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
