Job Summary

Under the direction of leadership, implements Risk Management Program practices to avoid or reduce loss to the organization. Collaborates with the other departments to develop and assure implementation of patient safety and high reliability initiatives. Acts as a resource for department and all staff in addressing risk management issues.

Responsibilities

• Serves as liaison with attorney offices and assumes responsibility for review of legal documents,
• Follow-up of legal issues and providing discovery information to attorney offices;
• Maintains current insurance documents, certifications and other documents required by federal, state regulations and system policies;
• Leads problem investigations and provides recommendations for resolution.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Education: Registered Professional Nurse (RN) with Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate degree inpatient care related field
• Experience: 3 years in direct patient care
