Description
The RX Operations Manager will oversee operational aspects of the practice focused on process management and improvement, compliance adherence, and development and management of new service offerings development. This role will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring seamless service delivery from project launch through client delivery. The Operations Leader will oversee financial evaluations, renewal strategies, business placements, benchmarking, and project tracking, while fostering strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and internal Mercer teams.Key responsibilities include:
- Drive process improvements and innovation within RX to enhance operational efficiency and commercial viability.
- Support business growth by enabling expanded service offerings amongst cross-functional teams
- Provide operational support in enabling adherence to compliance related aspects of the practice
- Align departmental goals with overall company objectives
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficient and effective business processes
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Identify inefficiencies and lead continuous process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards; manage risks proactively
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business needs
- Lead change management initiatives to adapt operations to evolving business environments

- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with operational technologies and software tools.

- Experience: Several years of progressive operational leadership in relevant industries.
