Become a part of our caring communityWe are seeking a Senior Learning Design Professional who partners with Tech leaders, subject matter experts, and associates to address skilling gaps and advance workforce capability through effective, strategic, learner-centered solutions. This role designs and delivers scalable learning experiences that support skilling across the Tech organization. Leveraging a consulting approach, adult learning theory, and instructional design best practices, the Senior Learning Design Professional partners with stakeholders to support business objectives.
The Senior Learning Design Professional is a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and delivering learning solutions that enable technical and professional skill development for Tech associates. This role applies a consultative approach to assess learning needs, define learning objectives, and recommend appropriate learning strategies aligned to business goals.
The role designs and develops engaging, learner-centered learning experiences across modalities-including eLearning, instructor-led and virtual training, mobile learning, and performance support tools-using industry-standard learning design technologies. Responsibilities include collaborating with subject matter experts to create instructional content, storyboards, scripts, and supporting materials, as well as facilitating live and virtual learning experiences or guiding facilitators as needed. The role leverages AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and learning impact and operates with considerable autonomy, exercising sound judgment in managing priorities, execution approaches, and moderately complex learning design challenges.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct needs analysis to identify learning needs and skilling gaps for learning audience
- Independently design, develop, and deliver engaging, learner-centered experiences (e.g., ILT, VILT, eLearning courses and skilling modules), that support skill development, knowledge acquisition, and performance improvement.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and Tech teams to assess learning needs, conduct content reviews to ensure alignment between learning solutions and business objectives.
- Apply consultative skills and influence without direct authority to build solution-focused partnerships that deliver targeted learning for Tech associates, advancing technical and professional capabilities.
- Measures learning solution effectiveness via various learning analytics (e.g., learner satisfaction, performance assessments, behavior change, observation) and align to business metrics and KPIs.
- Configure course components and ensure course compatibility upload for learning management system
- Partners with Associate Director to develop, refine, and prioritize the skilling roadmap, aligning future skills training with Tech needs.
- Partners with Associate Directorto provide consulting on incoming learning requests for Tech organization.
- Influence departmental strategy, makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues, and perform work without direction.
- Reports progress upwardly and to all non-Executive stakeholders.
- Provide LMS support as needed for the team and, as availability allows, the rest of the Tech org.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering end-to-end learning solutions that support skilling for technical audiences and/or advance strategic workforce development.
- 5+ years of experience of successful training design, development and implementation experience using various learning methods (e.g., ILT, VILT, eLearning, job aids, just-in-time training, microlearning).
- 3+ years proven ability to measure the effectiveness of learning programs in relation to knowledge/skill acquisition, behavior change, and business results.
- 3+ years of experience designing and delivering learning programs in a corporate environment.
- Proficient in creating and editing multimedia learning assets using industry-standard tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Animate, Audition, Captivate, Express, Illustrator, Photoshop) and eLearning development platforms such as Articulate 360 and Adobe Captivate.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and manage learning projects effectively, including timelines, stakeholder communication, and risk mitigation.
- Proven ability to communicate learning approaches, outcomes, and insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience managing courses in Cornerstone OnDemand or a similar LMS.
- Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Strong knowledge of eLearning standards and Adult Learning Theory.
- Demonstrated experience with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and performance improvement approaches.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and effectiveness of all activities.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and contribute to organizational strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using GenAI or GenAI-enabled tools (e.g., Copilot, Gemini, Synesthesia, Articulate) to inform learning design work and general work productivity.
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technology, Adult Education, similar field.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Planner, JIRA Align, MS Project or similar platforms) is a plus.
- Certification in instructional design tools or methodologies (e.g., ATD, CPTD, Kirkpatrick).
- Experience delivering learning solutions within IT/Tech environments or for Technology professionals.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$71,100 - $97,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
