Description
Surgical Tech PRN Days Position SummaryAssists surgeon during operative and invasive procedures. Ensures operating suite is adequately prepared for the procedures. Ensures all instruments are cleaned and sterilized and functioning properly. Assists anesthesiologist when blocks are required for surgery. Participates in department staff meetings and performance improvement activities.
THE SURGICAL TECH PRN DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Minimum Education: College, military or vocational training required.
Minimum Experience: 1 to 2 years of job-related experience is preferred.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: Certified Surgical Technology recognized by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS required.
