Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a TPR Finance Manager to join our team. The position will sit 100% remote in Dallas, TX with occasional local travel to HQ for meetings and/or team building events.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for the Finance Manager will be to oversee and manage a Financial Analyst team that will prepare wRVU calculations for providers in the various regions, monthly volume analysis, monthly practice financials and MOR reports. This position works under the supervision of the Finance Director and will develop additional reports to facilitate month end close process as well as develop and populate dashboards. This position will assist the Finance Director with any reporting request from TPR Leadership and day-to-day requests across the TPR markets. Additionally, this position will extract and compile data from various systems to develop sound analyses to support month end close and reporting requests.
The ideal candidate needs to have the following:
- Preferably has advanced understanding of wRVU principles and concepts, physician reimbursement, accounts payable management, coding, EHR /Practice Management IT systems, physician practice key indicators and MGMA benchmarks
- A working knowledge of Electronic Medical Record systems, specifically Athena
- Experience with developing SQL and Crystal reports
- Building and deploying corporate and market level reports and dashboards
- Experience in reading and interpreting contracts dealing with Physician compensation
- Experience in managing day-to-day for a small team
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, management, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of financial analysis experience or equivalent, prefer healthcare exposure, but not required
- 3 to 5 years of management experience.
- High level of analytical skills and extensive knowledge and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate knowledge of financial modeling techniques
- Prior experience with SQL, Crystal Reporting, and Google Big Query preferred.
- Capacity to review, identify and implement improvement opportunities where new processes, technologies or efficiencies can be applied.
- Comprehensive conceptual problem solving and analytical skills utilizing complex spreadsheets, comparison tools and other evaluation systems
- A working knowledge of wRVU's, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement rules for physicians and the ability to read and interpret contracts.
- Strong investigational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Independently organize work plans for assigned projects within team structure and develop constructive working relationships with others.
- Skilled in oral and written communication with a diverse level of participant knowledge and ability.
Compensation:
- Pay: $100,000 - $150,000 annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-50% depending on role level.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
