Per Diem Days

Day, evenings until 7pm, Saturdays, PD, FTE 0.012, to support Women's imaging service line and to work extended hours on Saturdays 8am-1pm.

Position Summary:

Under the direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Imaging, performs technical duties required in a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound guided invasive procedures. Operates imaging equipment in compliance with manufacture specifications. Follows protocols for Imaging physician ordered exams.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology Program and
• Registered by the ARDMS in either abdomen or OB.

EXPERIENCE

• 2 years' experience preferred in ultrasound imaging.
• Certified in Vascular (RVT) preferred

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION

• Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Must be RVT certified within a year of employment in this position
• Breast Registry ARDMS preferred but not required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic computer skills
