Per Diem Days
Day, evenings until 7pm, Saturdays, PD, FTE 0.012, to support Women's imaging service line and to work extended hours on Saturdays 8am-1pm.
Position Summary:
Under the direction of a Radiologist and the Director of Imaging, performs technical duties required in a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound guided invasive procedures. Operates imaging equipment in compliance with manufacture specifications. Follows protocols for Imaging physician ordered exams.
EDUCATION
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology Program and
- Registered by the ARDMS in either abdomen or OB.
EXPERIENCE
- 2 years' experience preferred in ultrasound imaging.
- Certified in Vascular (RVT) preferred
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION
- Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or
- Cardiovascular Credentialing International
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Must be RVT certified within a year of employment in this position
- Breast Registry ARDMS preferred but not required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic computer skills
