Position Highlights:
• Physician-led, Patient-centered team-based care environment

• Educate and empower your patients to take ownership of their health
Primary Responsibilities:
• Provides diagnosis, treatment, consultation, and follow up under the supervision of one or more physicians in the Practice. The Nurse Practitioner provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved.
• Effectively identifies, evaluates, and addresses disease prevention and health promotion issues of the population certified in the Practice while administering quality patient care.
• Works in an independent and interdependent relationship with members of the medical staff, which allows for consultation, collaboration, or referral.
• Responsible for the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic, and long - term healthcare issues.
• Educates patients and/or families about preventative care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications.

Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in nursing
- Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner Medical License in the State of New York (or ability to obtain)
Current, Active DEA license and Prescriptive Authority based on state requirements (or ability to obtain)- Board Certification by the ANCC/AANP (Nurse Practitioner)
- Oncology Experience Preferred: Unless otherwise indicated, at least one year of recent experience in a comparable job classification required .
The salary range for this role is $104,500 to $156,000 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
