Job Summary
Full Time, Days
The Manager of Analytics & Planning will support regional data and analytics needs across Tenet's El Paso and Northern California markets. This role is responsible for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive growth, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
This individual will work closely with regional leadership to analyze volume trends, market share, and service line performance, while supporting financial modeling and the annual business planning process. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with large datasets, has an understanding of health system operations and finance, building reporting frameworks, and presenting insights to senior leaders.
Responsibilities
- Analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly volume trends and market share across assigned markets
- Conduct ongoing profitability and performance analysis for service lines and departments
- Support financial modeling and business case development for new services and growth initiatives
- Partner with regional leadership to provide data-driven recommendations and strategic insights
- Support the annual business planning cycle, including forecasting and performance tracking
- Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics frameworks
- Interpret data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership in a clear and concise manner
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree
Preferred: MBA or MHA
Experience:
Required: 3 years of experience in finance or healthcare planning/analytics.
