Job Summary
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus
Assist physicians in the physiological monitoring of patients and the preparation of drugs, fluids, anesthetics and equipment ancillary to
operative intervention of other procedures requiring anesthesia; set up, operate and maintain monitoring and anesthesia equipment.
Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: High School Graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Previous surgical attendant or nursing assistant in acute care or ambulatory surgery
environment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as an anesthesia technician
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSUR :
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Anesthesia Technician
REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life
Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
