Job Summary
Job Shift: Days
Job Type: Full Time
The Assistant Director oversees the day-to-day operation of the department/s. This includes assistance with supervision of all personnel of procedures, ordering of supplies and equipment, and managing the schedules.
Responsibilities
- Excellent organization and communication skills;
- Able to work well in a fast-paced environment;
- Able to handle multiple priorities at one time;
- Able to supervise multiple areas.
Qualifications
Education:
- Required: Academic degree in nursing required (bachelor's or master's degree).
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field required (health administration, business, public health, or management).
Experience:
- Required: 2 years of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a manager or full-time charge nurse/related position.
Certifications:
- Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
- AHA BLS.
