Job Summary
Responsible for the oversight of cardiac rehab department(s) daily operations, facility needs and overall clinical work flow. Oversees
personnel, assigns tasks, and manages employee schedules within assigned productivity metrics. Evaluates cardiac patients and plans
and implements cardiac rehabilitation programs. Responsible for administration, interpretation, and evaluation of tests and
measurements. Assists in determining and assessing quality of cardiac rehab programs. Completes established competencies for the
position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology from an accredited college or university.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology or other related field from an accredited
college or university.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 years in a comparable cardiac rehab environment. 1 year of supervisory experience
or has demonstrated proficiency in skills required for supervisory functions.

REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR):
Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have
AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
AHA ACLS must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role
