Abrazo Medical Group - Biltmore Cardiology has been a defining force in Phoenix cardiovascular care since 1994, growing to a nine-location group of more than 28 physicians spanning general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, and cardiothoracic surgery. This is a rare opportunity to join a program that combines high-volume complex procedural work with genuine academic engagement - including active fellowships in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and structural heart. You'll practice within a Level I Trauma Center-aligned cardiovascular program, supported by a robust referral network and a collaborative multispecialty team built for both clinical depth and physician sustainability.
Position Highlights
- Full-time, employed interventional cardiologist role with a non-structural focus - coronary and advanced interventional procedures
- Approximately 80% inpatient / 20% outpatient case mix
- 24-28 cases managed daily across a diverse, high-acuity patient population
- Practice aligned with a Level I Trauma Center cardiovascular program
- Access to TAVR, structural heart, electrophysiology, and advanced interventional services within the same group
- Collaborative team of general cardiologists, interventional specialists, electrophysiologists, structural heart experts, and cardiothoracic surgeons
- Established referral network generating strong procedural volume and complex case opportunities
- Shared call structure designed for long-term sustainability
- Active participation in Grand Rounds, journal clubs, case conferences, and multidisciplinary heart team discussions

- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure

Abrazo West Campus is recognized for providing exceptional, comprehensive care to patients in West Valley communities. The 200-bed acute care hospital offers advanced services, including the da Vinci Xi surgical platform, Level I Trauma Center, Loop-X system, orthopedics, obstetrics and cardiovascular care.
