Job Summary
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus.
Full Time, Days
Directs related patient care activities of a nursing unit or multiple nursing units. This includes but not limited to: Insuring staff competency, effective and safe processes in the delivery of care, building collaborative working relationship with other discipline and the medical staff, preparation and implementation of fiscal responsibilities including budget and productivity, initiate or collaborate with hospital and medical staff in performance improvement, Insures adherence to Tenet Standards of Conduct and continuous enhancement of quality and patient experience.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred: Minimum 2yrs of Director experience in Critical Care or Cath Lab
Minimum Education: Associate Degree. BSN preferred
Minimum Experience: 3 years of experience as charge nurse
Required Certification: BLS, ACLS
Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license.
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Grade:
Skills: Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
** Note - Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
Organization Description
Nacogdoches Medical Center has been serving the East Texas community for nearly 50 yearswith a focus on caring for patients and a strong team environment. Service lines at the hospital include obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology (including a cath lab and electrophysiology capabilities), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology and stroke treatments) and weight loss surgery.
