Job Summary

Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures

Responsibilities

• Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians
• Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements
  • Experience: 6 months in clinical setting
  • Education: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography School
  • Certifications: Registry eligible and BLS.
• Preferred Requirements
  • Experience: 2 years
  • Certifications: RDMS or RDCS
