Job Summary
Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures
Responsibilities
- Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians
- Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 6 months in clinical setting
- Education: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography School
- Certifications: Registry eligible and BLS.
- Preferred Requirements
- Experience: 2 years
- Certifications: RDMS or RDCS
