Position Highlights:
- Excellent work-life balance with a predictable outpatient schedule
- Flexible hybrid model: in-office clinical care with opportunities for remote work (telehealth, care coordination, chart review)
- Weekly physician-led conferences focused on GI topics, case reviews, and evidence-based updates for continuous professional enrichment
- Close, daily collaboration with GI physicians, fostering hands-on mentorship and ongoing skill development
- Multidisciplinary collaboration with nutrition, colorectal surgery, behavioral health, hepatology, and radiology
- No inpatient rounding, nights, or hospital call
- Evaluate and manage outpatient GI patients (IBD, IBS, GERD, liver disease, screening, follow-ups)
- Perform patient education, care planning, and longitudinal disease management
- Collaborate closely with attending gastroenterologists on complex cases
- Participate in weekly case conferences and quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate care across departments to deliver comprehensive GI services

Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program
- Currently or eligible for board certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Active and unrestricted APC license in the State of Massachusetts
- Current active Mass DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
- Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
- Maintains BLS certification, professional certification as appropriate
- 2+ years of experience in gastroenterology
