As a Healthcare Economics Consultant, you will perform critical research, and you will have the opportunity to assess and inform key business priorities. You will apply strong analytical skills to develop and enhance quantitative analytics, support enterprise performance insights, and translate complex data into actionable recommendations. You will serve as a subject matter expert, analyzing clinical and financial data across multiple sources and leading efforts to identify opportunities for cost improvement and operational optimization.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead projects to completion by contributing to database creation, statistical modeling, and financial reports
- Develop, monitor, and improve key performance metrics to support business decision-making
- Design and develop data queries and programs using SQL, Python, and enterprise data platforms (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake) to analyze healthcare trends and business drivers, including medical cost and utilization
- Build reporting solutions, dashboards, and visualizations that translate complex data into clear, actionable information for stakeholders
- Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into analytical solutions
- Apply data quality and governance practices to ensure integrity and reliability of data and reporting
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to solve complex business problems and provide consultative recommendations
- Present findings, project updates, and recommendations in a clear, leadership-ready format

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as data science, analytics, mathematics, economics, business, statistics, engineering, or finance
- 3+ years of experience translating complex analysis into clear recommendations for business or leadership stakeholders
- 3+ years of experience using SQL or an alternative to extract, transform, analyze, and report on complex data (e.g., Databricks)
- 3+ years of experience analyzing healthcare, financial, operational, or business performance data
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, or similar business productivity tools
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as data science, analytics, mathematics, economics, business, statistics, engineering, or finance
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Power BI or similar tools
- Experience with machine learning or AI models and algorithms
- Experience working with large healthcare, claims, clinical, financial, or operational data sets
- Experience with Snowflake or cloud-based data platforms
- Advanced proficiency with analytic or programming tools such as R, Python, or similar platforms
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
