Description
Job SummaryThe person in this position is a labor systems professional responsible for supporting the development, implementation, optimization, and utilization of scheduling and staffing, agency procurement, position control and labor reporting applications, as well as performing skill mix and compliance reviews for hospitals on the effective use of these tools. This position partners with hospital CNOs and operational leaders in leveraging workforce management technologies, including applications such as UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM), and best practices to optimize scheduling practices, staffing effectiveness, labor productivity, and workforce analytics and enhance staffing office operations.
Responsibilities
Functional responsibilities include supporting product strategy and direction, implementation activities, training, user support and liaison functions, application design review, testing of enhancements and interfaces, and collaboration with Information Technology and vendor partners to improve system functionality and user experience. This position works closely with development and support teams and plays a key role in the continued expansion and adoption of workforce management tools across hospitals.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university is preferred.
The position requires a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the following areas:
- Hospital staffing and scheduling.
- Hospital labor management, productivity, and workforce analytics.
- Workforce management and scheduling applications, including experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) or comparable enterprise scheduling and timekeeping systems.
- Customer service and stakeholder relationship management.
- System implementation and maintenance, training, and change management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting enterprise workforce management solutions in a multi-hospital healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of healthcare staffing models, productivity standards, skill mix management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with system optimization, reporting, analytics, integration management, and end-user adoption initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with nursing and operational leadership to improve labor efficiency, workforce utilization, and operational outcomes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and consulting skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
- Experience with UKG Pro suite applications.
Compensation
- Base pay: $85K-$135K annually. Compensation depends on location, qualifications, and experience.
- Position may be eligible for an Annual Incentive Plan bonus of 10%-50% depending on role level.
- Management level positions may be eligible for sign-on and relocation bonuses.
