Job SummaryWhy Join Us
The Carondelet Neurological Institute, in partnership with Tenet Health, offers a two-year advanced fellowship designed for neurologists ready to transition into full-scope neurointerventional practice - without stepping away from independent clinical work or competitive compensation. You will train alongside internationally recognized faculty at one of Arizona's premier Comprehensive Stroke Centers, immersed in one of the region's highest-volume cerebrovascular programs. With dual DNV-certified Stroke Centers, 24/7 access to two biplane angio suites, and a genuinely collaborative multidisciplinary team, this program delivers the procedural depth and academic rigor to launch a distinguished neuroendovascular career.
Position Highlights
- Two-year advanced fellowship structured for neurologists pursuing full-scope neurointerventional practice
- Earn while you train - maintain independent neurology practice and receive competitive compensation throughout the program
- High-volume procedural experience - participate in 1,000+ neuroendovascular procedures annually, including 150+ mechanical thrombectomies per year
- Full cerebrovascular spectrum - complex aneurysm flow diversion, acute stroke thrombectomy, AVM embolization, carotid and intracranial stenosis, and rare vascular pathologies
- Dedicated outpatient continuity - one clinic day per week for longitudinal patient management beyond the angiography suite
- Robust call structure - 7 ED neurology calls per month focused on acute stroke triage and rapid endovascular decision-making
- 24/7 access to two biplane angio suites and dedicated neurosurgical ORs
- Research and academic platform - participation in national/international clinical trials, multicenter registries, and opportunities to publish and present at SNIS, ISC, and AANS/CNS
- Competitive compensation while maintaining independent neurology practice
- Malpractice insurance provided
- Health, dental, and life insurance
- 401(k) with employer matching
- Deferred compensation program
- Relocation assistance
- Advanced neuroimaging technology and dedicated procedural infrastructure
- Mentorship from nationally and internationally recognized neuroendovascular faculty
- Access to a collegial, team-driven academic environment with meaningful clinical autonomy
- Neurologist seeking transition into full-scope neurointerventional practice
