Tenet Healthcare and DMC Medical Group are seeking a fellowship-trained skull base neurosurgeon to join a nationally recognized academic medical center in the heart of Detroit. The Detroit Medical Center is home to a newly established, fully accredited Neuro Critical Care Fellowship program, placing you at the forefront of neurosciences education and innovation. With hospital privileges across all five DMC facilities and a robust support infrastructure, you'll have the resources to practice at the highest level - and the bandwidth to pursue research if you choose.
Position Highlights
- Mixed practice: general neurosurgery and skull base procedures
- Typical schedule: 3-4 clinic days and 1-2 OR/procedure/call days per week
- Shared call among 5 providers with 8 NPs supporting inpatient rounds 24/7
- Primary practice location: DMC Neurosurgery Clinic at Harper Hospital (downtown Detroit)
- Hospital privileges at all 5 DMC facilities
- PACS imaging on-site, directly connected to the hospital
- Supportive ancillary staff and in-house billing, coding, and collections
- Research participation welcomed
- Free parking at all DMC facilities

- Board eligible or board certified in neurological surgery
- Completion of an accredited skull base fellowship required
- Michigan medical license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in the State of Michigan
- 3-5 years of clinical experience post-training
